Assistant Manager Job Description

At International Restaurant Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in achieving sales growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of restaurant operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service.
  • Lead a team of restaurant staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business objectives and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Dependable, hardworking, and able to work under pressure and stressful situations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for daily banking and delivery responsibilities.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership skills and ability to motivate and train team members.
  • Proficient in using phones, computers, fax machines, and copiers.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team and provide excellent customer service.
