Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in a fast-paced university dining center. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily meal production, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct staff to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction and quality standards
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the diverse needs of our students and faculty
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and equipment maintenance
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of culinary professionals

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior culinary leadership role, preferably in a university or large-scale food service environment
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and automated food inventory systems a plus
