Culinary Preparation Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Culinary Preparation Specialist to contribute to the efficient operation of our kitchen. The Culinary Preparation Specialist will play a crucial role in the assembly of high-quality dishes for our residents. This position involves preparing ingredients and supporting the creation of menu offerings while ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and thrive in a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for menu offerings, which includes slicing vegetables, portioning proteins, and measuring spices and other components.
- Support the preparation of menu items by following established recipes and complying with food safety regulations.
- Maintain a tidy and organized kitchen space, including cleaning dishes and utensils, sanitizing work surfaces, and storing food items properly.
- Comply with food safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring proper handling and storage of food products.
- Assist with inventory oversight and procurement of supplies as necessary.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- At least 1 year of experience in a culinary preparation role or a similar position.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes precisely.
- Capable of multitasking and managing a high-volume workload effectively.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
