Position Summary
The role of the Customer Support Specialist involves:
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to and assisting incoming customer inquiries, scheduling service appointments, and processing payments with professionalism and friendliness.
- Managing customer accounts, conducting collection calls, assisting with billing inquiries, processing payments, and updating customer information.
- Supporting administrative functions such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Providing basic technical assistance for customers regarding generators and overseeing service and system setups.
- Offering general support to customers, colleagues, and management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Customer Service Representative, Receptionist, or Administrative Assistant (minimum of 2 years).
- Understanding of phone etiquette and customer service principles.
- Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in typing and computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information discreetly.
- Dependability and punctuality are essential.
