Position Overview
We are seeking a Customer Success Manager to enhance our customer relationships. In this role, you will collaborate with key decision-makers to maximize their success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage post-sales relationships with customers in alignment with the Sales team.
- Proactively monitor and drive software adoption according to success plans.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews to assess alignment with goals.
- Serve as a vital link between customers and Software AG.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and strategic recommendations to customers.
- Establish and maintain trusted advisor status over extended periods.
- Handle escalations in collaboration with support, sales, services, and other departments.
- Identify and recognize new sales opportunities.
- Ensure retention rates within a defined customer set.
- Contribute to overall account planning and strategy.
Qualifications
- Proven success in a customer-facing role such as consulting, pre-sales, or technical account management.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, both remote and in-person.
- Track record of meeting targets and quotas.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience managing large, complex projects or programs.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and navigate challenging customer situations.
- Proactive approach to working cross-functionally with various teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed to engage with customers.
- Familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT implementations is advantageous.
Additional Information
Experience with Software AG's product portfolio, particularly in Integration and StreamSets technology, is a plus. Knowledge of platforms and tools for large-scale data processing (e.g., HDFS, HBase, Hive, Spark, SOLR) is also beneficial.
