Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Experience Coordinator to join our team at Marshalls. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience, overseeing a team of Associates, and ensuring prompt and courteous customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Create a positive internal and external customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
  • Team Leadership: Oversees a team of Associates at front of store, ensuring they are trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service and promote loyalty programs.
  • Training and Development: Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front end principles, including personalizing the customer experience and promoting loyalty programs.
  • Operational Excellence: Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates.
  • Customer Concerns: Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Store Execution: Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan, prioritizing as needed.
  • Communication: Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, and provides progress updates.
  • Recognition and Feedback: Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
  • Partnering with Management: Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
  • Adherence to Labor Laws: Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Credit and Loyalty Programs: Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
  • Shrink Reduction: Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
  • Safety Awareness: Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Availability: Available to work flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Merchandising Techniques: Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
  • Multi-Tasking: Capable of multi-tasking.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team Player: Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Training Ability: Able to train others.
  • Experience: 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
