About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Canterbury Woods. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing the work of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Charge Nurses.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, colleagues, and vendors.
- Review referrals and coordinate patient assessments and plan of care evaluations.
- Assist LVN and CNA staff with their duties as needed.
- Coordinate and perform needed treatments, medications, or other nursing interventions as indicated by the patient plan of care or as ordered by the physician.
- Maintain required documentation as per Federal, State, and Company Policy.
- Ensure all patient rights are protected.
- Arrive to work on time, in proper clean uniform, good personal hygiene, and with nametag visible.
- Follow highest standards of cleanliness and follow all Federal, State, and company policies, health codes, and guidelines in preparation and handling of foodstuffs.
- Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner and wear safety equipment as required for the job.
- Report any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisor.
- Attend all mandatory in-service meetings and comply with all department and facilities policies and procedures.
- Registered Nurse - California
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1 Year Experience/training as required by state regulations
- 1 Year Long term care, geriatric, and/or rehabilitative nursing
