Job Summary

The Supervisor of Shuttle Services is responsible for overseeing the scheduling, supervision, and evaluation of shuttle drivers in Central and North Texas. This role works closely with leadership to establish policies and procedures for shuttle services, ensuring high-level customer service to patients, visitors, medical staff, and others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Supervision: Schedule, supervise, and evaluate the work of shuttle drivers in Central and North Texas.
  • Driver Assignments: Issue driver assignments for shuttle routes on the Temple Memorial Campus and BUMC main Campus, and manage driver PTO.
  • Data Management: Maintain data to record shuttle ridership, collect vehicle maintenance pre- and post-checks from drivers, and collect route and driver feedback forms.
  • Fleet Management: Work with the Fleet Department to schedule vehicle preventive maintenance and correct unscheduled maintenance.
  • Budget Management: Manage the Shuttle Services budget, including employee costs, fuel usage, and maintenance expenses.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the appearance of shuttle vehicles and signage at multiple locations, ensuring damage vehicles are repaired in a timely manner and damaged signage or instructions are replaced promptly.
  • Travel and Compliance: As required, travel to other facilities to ensure shuttles are operating on prescribed routes, vehicles are properly maintained, and personnel are adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Professional Development: Fulfill and provide proof of continuing education, licensure, and/or certifications required to remain qualified for this role.
  • Performance Feedback: Provide feedback to the Manager on shuttle service operations.

  • Technical Skills: General computer skills, including Microsoft Office, information security, scheduling and payroll systems, Teams, and email.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Experience: 3 Years of Experience
  • Certification/License/Registration: Drivers License (TXDL): If moving from out of state, must obtain a valid TX DL within 90 days of hire
