Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Comfort and Safety: Provide general supervision and ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of individuals in both home and community settings.
  • Home Management Services: Assist with daily living activities, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and medication administration.
  • Personal Care and Hygiene: Provide assistance and support with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure compliance with individual service plans and deliver services, supports, and supervision as prescribed.
  • Community Participation: Facilitate and support community participation services, including transportation and accompaniment to appointments and activities.
  • Financial Management: Manage individual and company finances, including making and recording transactions in accordance with policy, procedure, and regulation.
  • Problem Solving and Communication: Promote safety, respond to incidents, and facilitate positive relationships between individuals and their support teams.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Experience: Work experience as a caregiver (professional or personal) preferred
  • Skills: Valid Driver's license, ability to read, write, and communicate effectively, proficient technology skills
Working Conditions
  • Hours and Schedule: Flexible schedule, including holidays, inclement weather, overnight, and weekend shifts
  • Physical Demands: Frequent lifting, stretching, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and other physical exertion
  • Travel: Ability to travel and work in various settings, including offices, communities, and homes
