Community Living and Support Services (CLASS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Support Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with participants to develop and maintain safe and healthy relationships, provide life skills training, and support them in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Support participants in developing and maintaining relationships with family, friends, and community members.
- Provide life skills training and ongoing support in areas such as managing finances, meal planning, and home management.
- Assist participants in making informed decisions and advocating for themselves.
- Help participants identify and prioritize their needs and goals.
- Develop and implement Plans of Action to support participants in achieving their goals.
- High school diploma and 2 years of experience working directly with people with disabilities OR Bachelor's degree in human services (or related field).
- Dependability, flexibility, and self-direction are essential qualities for this role.
- Driver's license, own vehicle, valid insurance, and registration are required.
- Competitive hourly rate of $18.
- Flexible scheduling, including part-time positions.
