Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at ASSA ABLOY Americas. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for creating and monitoring purchase orders, conducting cost analysis, and managing supplier relationships to negotiate cost, terms, and lead times.
Key Responsibilities- Purchase Order Management: Create, monitor, and push/pull purchase orders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
- Cost/Value Analysis: Conduct thorough cost analysis on supplier products and services, including RFQ exercises, to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Supplier Management: Develop and maintain key supplier relationships, negotiate cost and terms, and manage supplier performance to ensure high-quality products and services.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, assist in the development of inventory management strategies and processes, and ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory data.
- Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, engineering, and manufacturing, to resolve issues and ensure compliance with customer and company expectations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent related field experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of supply chain experience, with a strong background in procurement, inventory management, and supplier relationships.
- Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, excellent negotiation skills, and high proficiency in Microsoft Office.
