Job Title: Administrative Assistant

At Accounting Group of Western New York, CPA, PC, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Buffalo, NY.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our firm, including managing phone calls and correspondence, scheduling appointments, and organizing office tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the firm, including managing phone calls and correspondence, scheduling appointments, and organizing office tasks.
  • Handle office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations, client correspondence, and reordering supplies.
  • Provide real-time scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing conflicts.
  • Greet and assist visitors.
  • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, email, and mail.
  • Anticipate the needs of others to ensure their seamless and positive experience.
  • Filing both electronic and paper tax returns and various forms.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • Prior administrative experience.
  • Excellent phone etiquette.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
