Key Responsibilities:

The Lead Inside Sales Executive is a revenue-generating team member tasked with engaging smaller clients within the financial services and specialized sectors to promote and sell Compliance Solutions products. This role involves direct interaction with clients to comprehend their requirements, pinpoint relevant Compliance Solutions offerings, articulate the value of these products, and manage all aspects of deal closure (including pricing, quotations, contracts, etc.). The Lead Inside Sales Executive may collaborate with Solution Consulting to gain deeper product insights and expertise. This position is accountable for meeting sales targets for the designated client portfolio, adhering to established sales methodologies, processes, and policies, and nurturing customer relationships.

Primary Duties:

  • Manages and nurtures client relationships for a designated portfolio of accounts
  • Prioritizes and addresses incoming leads or client inquiries effectively
  • Utilizes CRM data and account insights to identify, pursue, and secure opportunities to retain existing business, cross-sell or up-sell to current clients, or establish new client relationships
  • Maintains an organized and accurate sales pipeline in the CRM system
  • Understands and communicates the value propositions of Compliance Solutions offerings; collaborates with product managers or Technical Sales for in-depth technical knowledge as necessary
  • Follows established sales methodologies and processes, including configuring, pricing, quoting products and services, drafting, negotiating, and finalizing contracts
  • Achieves individual sales quotas
  • Builds internal relationships and fosters collaboration with the Solution Sales team to effectively serve the assigned client portfolio
  • Assists the Service team with escalated client issues as required (e.g., payment, supply challenges)

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5 years of experience in B2B sales with a commission structure
  • Proven track record in inside sales
  • Experience within the financial services or lending compliance sectors

Additional Skills and Qualifications:

  • Account Management (understanding of client business, decision-makers, and purchasing processes)
  • Experience in cross-selling, up-selling, or pursuing renewal transactions with clients
  • Recognizing when accounts require additional support and transitioning to face-to-face engagement
  • Proficient in solution presentation skills (virtual via phone or video)
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks across various accounts
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building stakeholder relationships virtually
  • Effective collaboration with technically skilled individuals
  • Professional demeanor in both oral and written communications
  • Self-driven; proactive and resilient mindset
  • Enthusiasm for learning and developing sales competencies
