Job Overview

Position Summary: The role involves the meticulous processing of chicken combs at Lampire Biological Laboratories, aiming to deliver consistent and high-quality products while ensuring thorough and accurate documentation.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess qualifications based on education, resume, and/or relevant work experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, along with solid mathematical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to provide guidance, train peers, and communicate effectively.
  • Comprehension of the metric system and scientific notation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regular cleaning of chicken combs.
  • Execute washing and slicing according to Lampire and/or client-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Draft and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor and manage inventories of disposable and production materials, placing orders as needed.
  • Assist in the processes of filling, labeling, and inspecting finished goods.
  • Operate basic laboratory and analytical equipment.
  • Complete all required documentation in accordance with Lampire, client, and FDA standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness in laboratories on a regular basis.
  • Perform all job duties safely and report any safety concerns to management or the safety committee.
  • Adhere to all relevant Quality Assurance procedures and requirements.
  • Ensure all tasks are conducted in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
  • Support the preparation of investigation reports and additional testing as required by clients or as part of the CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Action) Program.

Educational Background: A minimum of a High School Diploma is required.

Physical Demands:

This position is physically active, requiring standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. The individual must be capable of lifting and/or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds multiple times throughout the day.


Work Environment:

The work environment is primarily within a laboratory setting, which is generally quiet, though there may be moderate noise from various equipment at times.
