Sterile Processing Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Amergis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper sterilization and processing of medical instruments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Decontamination and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment
- Assembly and packaging of sterile supplies
- Operation of steam and ETO sterilization equipment
- Maintenance of inventory and supply levels
- Collaboration with operating room personnel to ensure efficient processing and delivery of sterile supplies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (IAHCSMM or CBSPD)
- 1 year of experience in sterile processing
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
