Sterile Processing Specialist

As a Sterile Processing Technician at Providence, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by preparing, packaging, and sterilizing reusable medical supplies and linens. You will collect, clean, disinfect, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments and other medical equipment, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment and supplies according to established protocols
- Collect and process soiled medical equipment and supplies
- Inspect and clean medical equipment and supplies
- Maintain accurate records of equipment and supply inventory
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited sterile processing program
- National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire
- Completion of Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist training program or similar Central Services, Surgery or patient care work
