Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by preparing, packaging, and sterilizing reusable medical supplies and linens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collects, cleans, disinfects, inspects, and sterilizes surgical instruments and other medical equipment.
  • Prepares and packages reusable medical supplies and linens for use in patient care areas.
  • Maintains accurate records of sterilization and inventory management.
  • Collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of sterilized equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited sterile processing program.
  • Within 1 year of hire, National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
  • Completion of Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist training program or similar Central Services, Surgery, or patient care work.
