Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Administrator to facilitate the ongoing enhancement of our services.

Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Administrator will manage the quality assurance and compliance initiatives within Shalom House. This position is vital for ensuring that all services adhere to established standards and regulations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various departments to create, implement, and oversee quality assurance protocols.

Key Duties:

  • Establish and uphold quality assurance policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform regular audits and evaluations of programs and services to verify compliance with both internal and external standards.
  • Work in partnership with program directors, managers, and staff to pinpoint areas for enhancement and execute corrective measures.
  • Lead and coordinate quality assurance training sessions for staff to encourage best practices in service delivery.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in care and service quality.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on quality assurance activities, findings, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure all documentation related to quality assurance is accurate, current, and well-maintained.
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies during inspections, audits, and reviews.
  • Stay updated on changes in industry regulations and standards, adjusting policies and procedures as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, quality assurance, or a related discipline; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance management, demonstrating a high level of organization. Familiarity with compliance regarding MaineCare regulations is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards within the healthcare or social services sector.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and communicate proficiently at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in spearheading quality improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Proficiency in utilizing quality management software and tools.
