The role of the Material Quality Assurance Technician is integral to our Infectious Disease division. In this capacity, you will be responsible for executing tasks that uphold the quality standards of incoming materials as established by the organization. Key responsibilities encompass inspection, testing, auditing, and thorough documentation of procured materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conducts thorough testing of incoming materials.
• Oversees the management of materials that do not meet established performance standards.
• Ensures all laboratory equipment is properly maintained.
• Calibrates quality control laboratory instruments as per the defined schedule.
• Works diligently to guarantee timely release of incoming materials in accordance with established timelines.
• Collaborates with Supervisors and Managers on troubleshooting and various projects as needed.
• Provides assistance with technical and quality-related challenges as required.
• Executes gauge repeatability and reproducibility studies and other inspection method validations as necessary.
• Contributes to the revision and enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintains compliance with FDA, ISO, and OSHA regulations within the work area.
Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification as an ASQ Inspector.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a regulated industry.
• At least one year of experience in Quality Control.
Competencies:
• Proficient understanding of gauging and metrology.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Competence in using inventory software, spreadsheet applications, and word processing tools.
