The role of the Material Quality Assurance Technician is situated within our Infectious Disease division. This position is pivotal in ensuring that the quality of incoming materials adheres to the standards established by the organization. Key responsibilities encompass the inspection, testing, auditing, and documentation of procured materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conducts thorough testing of incoming materials.
• Oversees the process for materials that do not meet established performance criteria.
• Ensures the maintenance of all laboratory equipment.
• Calibrates quality control laboratory instruments according to a predetermined schedule.
• Strives to guarantee timely release of incoming materials in alignment with operational schedules.
• Assists management in troubleshooting and various projects as required.
• Provides support for technical and quality-related issues as necessary.
• Executes gauge R&R's and other qualifications for inspection methods as mandated.
• Contributes to the revision and enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Upholds compliance with FDA, ISO, and OSHA regulations within the workspace.
Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
Preferred Qualifications:
• ASQ Certification as an Inspector.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a regulated environment.
• At least one year of experience in Quality Control.
Competencies:
• Proficient knowledge of gauging and metrology.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Competence in using inventory software, spreadsheet applications, and word processing tools.
