Role Summary:
The Material Quality Assurance Inspector plays a critical role within our Infectious Disease division. This position is responsible for ensuring that the quality of incoming materials adheres to the standards established by the organization. Key responsibilities include conducting inspections, performing tests, managing audits, and maintaining accurate documentation for all purchased materials.
This job description is subject to periodic review and may be updated as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts thorough inspections and testing of incoming materials.
- Oversees the management of materials that do not meet established performance criteria.
- Ensures the proper maintenance of all laboratory equipment.
- Calibrates quality control laboratory instruments in accordance with established schedules.
- Facilitates the timely release of incoming materials in alignment with operational schedules.
- Assists management in troubleshooting and various projects as required.
- Provides technical support and addresses quality-related issues as needed.
- Conducts gauge repeatability and reproducibility studies and other qualification assessments as necessary.
- Contributes to the development and revision of standard operating procedures.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory standards including FDA, ISO, and OSHA.
