The specialist will play a crucial role in assessing client exposures to identify and mitigate risks, while also overseeing the coordination of placements and daily operations on accounts.

Proven relationships within peer markets and emerging markets are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:


Utilizing risk management expertise and knowledge of the industry and insurance marketplace, the specialist will evaluate clients' exposures and loss history to develop tailored solutions.

A comprehensive understanding of the risks associated with the energy sector is necessary to provide informed advice.


The Energy Risk Management Specialist will analyze quotes from insurance carriers and present findings to clients and team members, including pricing analysis, coverage comparisons, and recommendations, while identifying differences against existing policies, claims made, surplus lines, and subjectivities, as well as loss projections and cash flows when applicable.


This role is responsible for the order to bind process and ensuring the accuracy of programs based on client directives.

The specialist will maintain ongoing communication and relationships with the daily client team to effectively address client needs.

Additionally, the specialist will build and manage relationships within the internal casualty practice, insurance markets, and clients, while developing and sustaining strong working relationships with carriers and underwriters.

Acting as the primary source of information regarding market conditions, including pricing trends and coverage options, is a key aspect of this role.

The Energy Risk Management Specialist will participate in pre-strategy meetings to formulate renewal strategies.

Responsibilities also include crafting renewal strategies and submission documents, reviewing policies for accuracy, and requesting necessary changes from underwriters.

Following up on any outstanding items or subjectivities is essential.

Collaboration with account executives, producers, and client teams to support client retention and new business development is vital.

The specialist will articulate the value of the broking function and engage in fee discussions as appropriate.

Utilizing Aon's extensive resources to develop and implement effective risk solutions is a critical component of this role.

Education:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience is required.

Compensation Transparency:
The salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Compensation may also be adjusted based on geographic location.

This position is eligible for participation in Aon's annual incentive plans, which may include discretionary bonuses in addition to base salary.
