Job Summary

The Sr. Director of Dining Services is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day Foodservice operations. This role involves managing and leading a team of employees, managing client relationships, ensuring profitability of the account, and talent development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the department in accordance with the approved budget, providing maximum value to the client
  • Ensure superior quality food is offered to the client
  • Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients and other departments within the community
  • Promote the professional growth and development of the team
  • Foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of additional experience
  • Minimum of five years of Proven Leadership expertise
  • Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
  • Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
  • ServSafe certified a plus
