Position Summary:

This advanced consumer processing role centers on the evaluation of credit applications and ensuring compliance with banking regulations across various consumer loan types. The position also involves substantial customer service and support for an existing portfolio. Analytical skills are essential for compiling and summarizing data for reports, resolving customer issues, and prioritizing tasks. Attention to detail is crucial for composing, typing, and proofreading materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, capable of multitasking effectively, and adept at meeting deadlines. This position is entirely office-based.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process consumer loan applications in accordance with regulatory standards and the Bank's Policies, Procedures, and Matrix, while upholding Wintrust's commitment to exceptional internal and external customer service.
  • Coordinate loan closings and fundings.
  • Assist customers with transaction requests and balance inquiries.
  • Review and submit bills and invoices for payment; process loan payment requests; facilitate fund transfers between accounts.
  • Follow up with internal and external customers regarding missing documentation.
  • Perform various other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in banking or a related field.
  • Proficient in a variety of computer software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and database management.
  • General computer skills are required.
