Key Responsibilities
- Fostering and nurturing respectful relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Addressing inquiries from clients and their employees regarding their benefit plans, including comprehensive coverage questions.
- Investigating and resolving client claims and billing discrepancies promptly, escalating issues as necessary.
- Managing enrollment modifications, terminations, applications, and confirming employee enrollment statuses as required.
- Coordinating with our carrier partners and vendors to ensure client satisfaction.
- Collecting essential client data, such as census information.
- Contributing to organizational projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and quality.
- Reconciling invoices between carrier vendors and employee enrollments to ensure precision.
- Creating and maintaining an online benefits portal for client groups and their employees' enrollment choices.
- Overseeing and servicing a substantial portfolio of corporate clients.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their employees are prioritized.
Qualifications
- A solid understanding of health insurance and employee benefits, including relevant legislation.
- The capability to analyze multiple group accounts and manage various clients concurrently.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving abilities along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Preferred 3+ years of experience in the industry.
- A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
