Clinical Program Coordinator at Commonwealth of Virginia

The Clinical Program Coordinator is essential in managing the development, quality enhancement, and coordination of care for patients participating in the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) initiative. This role encompasses providing clinical knowledge, assisting various clinic departments, and ensuring the application of evidence-based methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee quality enhancement projects for ERAS care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Identify clinical challenges for improved patient outcomes
  • Boost patient throughput and satisfaction levels
  • Review and revise ERAS protocols in accordance with the latest research
  • Facilitate the execution and sustainability of projects
  • Engage in continuous performance enhancement activities
Organizational Responsibilities:
  1. Effectively communicate with patients and healthcare staff
  2. Support both internal and external stakeholders
  3. Participate in performance enhancement initiatives
  4. Exhibit accountability and foster teamwork

Compensation Range: $67,000 - $108,555.20 Annually

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Experience: 3-5 years in clinic leadership roles
  • License/Certification: Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Physical Requirements:

This position necessitates prolonged standing, repetitive motion tasks, and the capability to lift heavy items. The role may also involve exposure to various environmental factors, including noise and infectious agents.
