Role Overview
A recognized authority and innovator in the processes and tools that facilitate sales processes and service delivery automation. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the needs of various stakeholders including Marketing, Sales, Order Fulfillment, Engineering, Construction, and Product functional leads, with the ability to convert those needs into technical specifications within CRM and Service Delivery platforms. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to generate ideas and implement solutions that yield significant business results. Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide tactical support and guidance to team members by addressing inquiries and assisting in the resolution of complex issues.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the CRM team by playing a pivotal role in the development of a comprehensive enterprise-wide CRM solution, ensuring key integrations support the Quote to Cash and order fulfillment processes.
  • Facilitate the development of Business Requirements using an agile methodology or the Business Process and Analysis (BPA) framework as determined by project leadership.
  • Create detailed end-to-end test cases at both application and multi-application levels.
  • Oversee the approval and claiming processes in collaboration with Business and Technology stakeholders to refine business requirements and use cases, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and traceability.
  • Identify project stakeholders, assess risks, and evaluate the benefits of alternative designs; document assumptions and analyze the impact of system changes on users and customers.
  • Draft Business Requirements (BRQs), including process flows and use cases.
  • Conduct reviews of BRQs with project stakeholders and document consumers to ensure thoroughness and compliance with business requirements.
  • Engage with internal customers, cross-functional team members, and external vendors to gather agreed-upon business objectives and processes for defining business requirements.
  • Provide Business Analyst support for software testing and debugging initiatives to confirm that requirements are fulfilled.
  • Deliver status updates regarding project progress, challenges, dependencies, and risks.
  • Proactively analyze and document solutions.
  • Identify potential risks and articulate alternative options.
  • Participate in discussions related to business strategy and portfolio management.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge in one functional area while maintaining a broad understanding of other areas.
  • Engage in knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior team members.
  • Maintain relationships and influence within the team, key stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Facilitate meetings effectively.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in a related field, such as business operations, system support, or business process design.
  • Experience in workflow management.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems.
  • Experience in creating process flows.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience if the candidate holds an advanced degree and possesses strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in requirements solicitation and documentation for new products, lifecycle management, or enhancements.
  • Ability to manage and adhere to the long-term and short-term product roadmap for CRM in collaboration with functional leads.
  • Experience in full lifecycle implementation, including requirements gathering, process design, configuration, functional design, testing, conversion, and deployment.
  • Capability to explain complex subjects to less technical audiences.
  • Exceptional business acumen and storytelling abilities to communicate insights clearly and drive action.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaboration skills to work effectively across the organization.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and think analytically.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in change management and documentation of methods and procedures.
  • Familiarity with internal sales order systems.
  • Experience in process modeling and analysis.
  • Training facilitation skills.
  • Project management skills, including coordination, tracking, and monitoring of projects.
  • Experience in sales support within a telecommunications context.
  • Experience in developing test cases and conducting user testing.
  • Experience in B2B service delivery processes.
  • Background in the telecommunications industry.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with tools such as Visio, iGrafx, SharePoint, and JIRA.
