Professional Alternatives is a leading staffing firm specializing in all levels of corporate administrative and professional support, as well as executive placement. We are currently seeking an experienced Collections Analyst to join our team in Southwest Houston.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in finance and develop valuable skills in accounts receivable and credit & collections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage professionally with customers through calls and emails to resolve past-due balances.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal sales teams.
  • Analyze and resolve issues causing payment delays, working collaboratively with customers and internal teams.
  • Track and document all interactions, maintaining up-to-date customer records.
  • Support dispute resolution efforts and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-train on departmental functions to broaden your skillset.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) or collection software is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, a team-oriented attitude, and a professional demeanor.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
