Unit Information:

Our M3 unit is the hospital's orthopedic center, distinguished by Blue Cross Blue Shield as a center of excellence. We focus primarily on orthopaedic care, managing over one thousand total joint replacements each year. Additionally, we specialize in spine care and orthopaedic trauma.

The M3 unit features 26 private rooms and caters to a diverse orthopaedic population, as well as adult acute care patients with various diagnoses and co-morbidities, delivering comprehensive care in accordance with the organization's scope and Massachusetts state regulations.


Work Schedule:

This position requires 32 hours per week, with evening shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM, including every third weekend.


Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
  • Current RN licensure in Massachusetts in good standing is required.
  • BSN is strongly preferred; an Associate's degree in nursing may be considered.
  • Must enroll in a BSN program within one year.
  • BLS certification is required.
