Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex wounds, skin, and ostomy issues.
  • Provide direct care to patients, including wound dressing changes, ostomy care, and education on self-care and wound management.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based best practices for wound, skin, and ostomy care, and educate clinical staff on these practices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers across the continuum to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in quality management and performance improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing and completion of an accredited Nursing Program.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (WOCN) certification.
  • One (1) year of related experience.
