Key Responsibilities:
As a Culinary Team Member, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing food items to order, adhering to established recipes and procedures within designated timeframes.
  • Ensuring that guest orders are accurately portioned and ready for service.
  • Maintaining cleanliness by disinfecting and sanitizing work areas, including cutting boards, grills, and equipment, in accordance with sanitation standards.
  • Restocking supplies as needed throughout your shift.
  • Collaborating with the Chef to review work status and necessary follow-up actions.
  • Transporting food supplies and utensils between work and storage areas.
  • Storing food properly to prevent spoilage.
  • Familiarizing yourself with new menu items and dishes.
  • Demonstrating a thorough understanding of safe kitchen equipment usage.
  • Assisting in various kitchen areas as assigned.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the restaurant industry, specifically in a line cooking capacity.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Proficient cooking and knife handling skills.
  • The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to take direction.
  • Preferred completion of culinary school, military training, or formal on-the-job training.
  • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
  • A commitment to safety compliance.
  • A valid food handler's card.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that meets the needs of the restaurant.
