Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in project management, estimating, supervision, or other relevant construction roles. A strong organizational skill set, motivation, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the timely and precise execution of commercial projects of varying scales.
  • Participate in essential job-site meetings and ensure that installation teams are present and punctual, delivering work that meets our high-quality standards.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and delivery personnel to guarantee that the necessary materials are available on-site for installation.
  • Communicate project changes and requirements to the sales team for accurate change order quotes.

Essential Duties:

  • Analyze blueprints to understand project materials and installation needs, conducting field measurements as required.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and contractors to schedule material deliveries, inspecting for quality and accuracy upon arrival.
  • Supervise the daily activities of flooring installers and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Engage with purchasing, sales, and vendors to manage material releases and expedite deliveries.
  • Conduct moisture assessments of substrates as necessary.
  • Inspect job sites prior to installation and collaborate with builders or clients to resolve any issues.
  • Attend weekly construction meetings as needed.
  • Perform final quality checks on all installations and address any concerns with subcontractors or installers.
  • Complete required documentation for material returns or claims.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
  • Commitment to adhering to job-site safety protocols.
  • Proficient in computer usage; all documentation is digital, requiring comfort with mobile devices, tablets, and desktop computers.
  • Ability to interpret floor plans, blueprints, and CAD drawings.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Timely response to all internal and external communications.
  • Problem-solving skills to achieve efficient and high-quality solutions on-site.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
