Job Summary

Sergenian's Floor Coverings is seeking a skilled and experienced Flooring Installation Specialist to join our Commercial Installation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including carpet tile, broadloom carpet, sheet vinyl, luxury vinyl plank, VCT, stair treads, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess Work Sites

Conduct thorough site assessments to identify potential issues and make recommendations for resolution.

  • Prepare Surfaces

Remove old hardware, such as screws and bolts, to prepare surfaces for installation.

  • Install Flooring Materials

Use hand and power tools to install flooring materials according to client specifications.

  • Collaborate with Team Members

Work effectively with other installers to ensure efficient use of time and materials, while emphasizing safety and quality.

  • Inspect Finished Work

Conduct thorough inspections to ensure customer satisfaction and the highest possible standards of work.

Requirements
  • Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Experience

Floor covering experience is preferred, but not required.

  • Physical Demands

The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

  • Reliability

Reliable transportation is necessary.

  • Attention to Detail

Excellent attention to detail is essential.

  • Background Check

A post-offer background check is required.

Work Schedule
  • Work Hours

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6am-2pm, with occasional nights and weekends as needed.
