Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at Optimus (TX). As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the energy trading and commodities space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities in the energy trading and commodities space.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.
  • Work closely with our analytic team to prepare for meetings, demonstrations, and customer communications.
  • Attend industry conferences and events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and network with potential clients.
  • Locational flexibility to either Texas or the Northeast with a planned schedule of 30% travel.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years software or solution sales experience.
  • Familiarity with the energy and commodity markets.
  • Previous experience with risk analytics in energy markets, specifically power.
  • Familiarity with how companies use analytics to manage operations.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in managing complex sales.
  • Polished communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, highly-collaborative, results-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor's or M.S. degree from an accredited university.
