Sales Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at Optimus (TX). As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the energy trading and commodities space.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new sales opportunities in the energy trading and commodities space.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.
- Work closely with our analytic team to prepare for meetings, demonstrations, and customer communications.
- Attend industry conferences and events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and network with potential clients.
- Locational flexibility to either Texas or the Northeast with a planned schedule of 30% travel.
- Minimum of 2 years software or solution sales experience.
- Familiarity with the energy and commodity markets.
- Previous experience with risk analytics in energy markets, specifically power.
- Familiarity with how companies use analytics to manage operations.
- Demonstrated track record of success in managing complex sales.
- Polished communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, highly-collaborative, results-oriented environment.
- Bachelor's or M.S. degree from an accredited university.
