Job DescriptionAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Restoration Technician to join our team at DRYmedic SE Charlotte, NC. As a Lead Restoration Technician, you will play a crucial role in restoring properties damaged by water, fire, mold, or other causes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remove and demolish materials that cannot be restored or repaired at job sites.
  • Extract standing water if needed.
  • Move, clean, and store equipment, tools, and vans.
  • Clean up affected materials and areas at job sites, including removing all job-related debris.
  • Maintain job site safety.
  • Execute job action plans for restoration production.
  • Manipulate contents.
  • Work in confined spaces, including heights.
  • Utilize power tools.
  • Assist with warehouse duties.
  • Operate truck-mounted extractors efficiently.
  • Identify and place drying equipment.
  • Communicate workflow and scope of work with supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in the restoration industry, with a focus on water damage restoration, fire restoration, and mold remediation preferred.
  • Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques is a plus.
  • IICRC certifications, including WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, are preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Reliable transportation to the main office required.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, and twisting.
  • Clean-shaven face for use of respirator per OSHA regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in executing restoration tasks.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety on job sites.
