Payroll Coordinator Job Description

Blue Compass RV is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our team. As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll, including data entry, payroll processing, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all things data: Perform data entry of HR/Payroll information in our HRIS system (Paylocity)
  • Assist Payroll Specialists and associates with pay-related inquiries, verifications of employment, and mail distribution
  • Ensure documentation is retained per legal requirements and company policy
  • Provide weekly reports to HR leadership
  • Special Projects: Deliver Payroll initiatives through completion of special projects as assigned
Requirements:
  • College Degree (preferred but not required)
  • Previous HR or payroll experience (preferred but not required)
  • Previous dealership experience (preferred but not required)
  • Excellent communication/organization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Great work ethic and commitment to organizational success
  • Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
