Role Summary:

We are looking for a Program Consultant to deliver high-level support for dynamic multifamily energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives. This role emphasizes program design, execution, marketing, and stakeholder engagement. The position is entirely remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and reporting deliverables.
  • Establish and oversee efficient program processes for reliable execution.
  • Coordinate program activities and policies to align with strategic goals.
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure program buy-in through effective communication.
  • Conduct research and analysis, providing clear written summaries of findings.
  • Supervise project team members and their assigned responsibilities.
  • Support team members in their professional development.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication with clients, stakeholders, and partners.

Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of experience in energy efficiency, decarbonization, or related resource programs, ideally within the multifamily sector.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various market sectors and organizational levels in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Self-motivated team player capable of working independently.
  • Strong customer service orientation to support clients and program partners.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Understanding of building science and energy efficiency principles.
  • Availability for work events outside of standard business hours as necessary.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, communications, policy, economics, environmental science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Familiarity with local government and regulatory agencies in California.
  • Experience in supporting team members or managing teams.
  • Located in California with the ability to travel as needed.
