Key Qualifications

Education and Experience
A high school diploma or GED is required; 1-2 years of sales experience in the Asian food sector is preferred. Familiarity with Japanese cuisine is advantageous. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in word processing software, are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Core Responsibilities
- Engage with clients and potential clients at their locations, providing necessary information and support to secure and sustain business relationships.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance business, social, and civic ties with clients in the assigned territory to maximize profitability.
- Accountable for selling products to all clients within the designated area.
- Expand business by anticipating client needs, identifying suitable solutions to business challenges, and delivering a high level of customer service.
- Understand and implement the sales strategy and pricing adjustments as directed by management.
- Effectively communicate plans to clients and manage resources to support sales objectives.
- Relay new product and service opportunities, as well as feedback gathered through field activities, to the appropriate company personnel.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.
- Assist in setting sales objectives for the territory in conjunction with Area Team Managers or Sales Managers.
- Work closely with assigned Operations and Logistics staff to achieve sales targets.
- Provide timely updates on field activities to aid in business and product planning.
- Submit sales activity reports and other necessary documentation.
- Participate in quarterly inventory counts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
