Position Information

The Emergency Department Patient Registration Representative will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth registration process for patients presenting to the emergency department. This includes accurately collecting demographic and insurance information, collecting copays, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Register patients for emergency department care, ensuring accurate and timely completion of registration processes
  • Collect and verify demographic and insurance information, as well as collect copays
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive experience in the emergency department
  • Work closely with clinical staff to facilitate efficient patient care and registration processes

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in healthcare registration
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Not applicable for licensure/certification requirements

Work Schedule

7:00pm-7:00am, 3 days a week (days TBD), with occasional weekend and call requirements
