Job Summary:

Belcan is in search of a Technical Lead for a full-time, direct role. The ideal candidate should hold a BS Degree in Engineering or a related field, or possess equivalent experience. This pivotal role involves guiding a team and managing Statement of Work (SOW) responsibilities. We seek an enthusiastic engineer with strong leadership capabilities and a solid grasp of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee a team of engineers and support personnel to achieve SOW objectives.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
  • Engage with senior client leadership to identify additional project opportunities.
  • Coordinate recruitment, training, and onboarding of new team members in collaboration with HR.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as procurement of equipment and system access arrangements for team members.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to new hires in manufacturing and project-related disciplines.
  • Establish work priorities, approve timecards, and resolve daily operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with MSCS team members across various locations to enhance team training.

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing and engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience in technical leadership or project management.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering and manufacturing drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T principles.
  • Able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across diverse teams.
  • Self-driven with a strong desire for continuous learning.
  • Proficient in MS Excel for various applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in supplier and customer relations.
  • Familiarity with NX/Team Center is a plus.
  • Background in aerospace, turbine, or airfoil engineering.
