About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and highly experienced individual to lead and contribute to innovative and challenging projects involving site investigation and remediation for industrial clients, brownfield redevelopment, landfills, and other water and waste containment systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement remedial strategies and site-specific closure strategies;
  • Manage complex site investigation and remediation implementation efforts for various project sites;
  • Lead challenging technical projects while leveraging existing knowledge and experience to help expand current practices and capabilities through business development and client management;
  • Effectively steward and build client relationships to facilitate repeat business;
  • Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability;
  • Management and mentoring of early career staff and managing subcontractors;
  • Work plan development, data evaluation, and report writing;
  • Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals;
  • Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, geology, or a related field;
  • Advanced degree in earth science, environmental engineering, or a related field (preferred);
  • Professional registration (i.e., P.E, P.G.), if applicable;
  • At least 10 years (15+ preferred) of directly relevant experience in a consulting environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed;
  • Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients;
  • Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers (preferred);
  • Valid U.S. drivers license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
