About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer - Project Manager to join our team at CTL Engineering. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will play a critical role in the design, planning, and implementation of site civil design/development projects for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Design Lead and/or Project Manager in all aspects of Civil/Site Development Design projects, including working with teams and end clients to develop data, complete technical analysis, and prepare permitting and construction drawings, specifications, and quality control plans.
  • Develop Concept, Layout, Preliminary and Final Engineering Plans, as well as erosion/sediment control plans and utility/utility relocation plans.
  • Manage permit applications and complete/manage/serve as the technical expert in site layout, utility and grading plans, storm water analyses and reports, and site development permits.
  • Perform and/or oversee civil engineering analyses and numerical analysis using various computer software programs.
  • Determine hydrology, develop hydraulic/drainage and stormwater calculations, SWPPPs and obtain NDPES permits.
  • Participate in hands-on field observation & inspection of construction activities, particularly in regard to problem-solution scenarios.
  • Communicate with clients on deliverables and develop and/or oversee project proposals and Engineer's construction cost estimates.
  • Develop/manage schedules, budgets, and quality of work.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and Project Management.
  • Proficient in using Auto CAD Civil 3D in various Civil/Site Design projects.
  • Excellent customer service skills, a very high level of professionalism, and extremely comfortable with client interaction.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and remain quality-focused.
  • Possess very strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to be a team player.
  • Ability to be reliable and on time.
  • Be quality-minded and client-focused.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline.
  • 8+ years of Civil/Site Design experience.
  • PE credentialing is required.
  • Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record.
