Job Description

Kaplan is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Legal Education to join our team. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to promote our bar review courses to law schools and students.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with experience in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with law school administrators, faculty, and students.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to promote our bar review courses to law schools and students
  • Building and maintaining relationships with law school administrators, faculty, and students
  • Conducting informational presentations on law school campuses and in the community
  • Representing Kaplan at events, fairs, and forums
  • Recruiting, training, and supporting teams of student campus representatives
  • Identifying new activities to promote growth in the area, and developing programs to counter competitive activity
  • Providing direct support and mentoring to student users of the bar review program
  • Maintaining knowledge of Company products and services and how they can be utilized for multiple purposes and audiences

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Juris Doctorate Degree (JD Degree) required
  • Superior attention to detail and tremendous organizational and time-management skills
  • Superior communication skills during in-person, phone, and online client meetings and presentations
  • Computer proficiency, including experience with Web-based applications, CRM (especially Salesforce), and online collaboration tools

For full-time positions, Kaplan has two Salary Grades, this position is a Salary Grade B: $64,000 - $202,600. Actual compensation for this role is determined by several factors including but not limited to job level, candidate's skills, experience, and education, among other factors determined by the business.
