Job Description

Kaplan is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Legal Education to join our team. As a key member of our sales and business development team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow our business in the legal education market.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of success in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and building and maintaining relationships with key partners and customers.

In addition to your sales and business development expertise, you will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers, including law students and faculty. You will work closely with our marketing and product development teams to ensure that our products and services meet the needs of our customers.

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual who is passionate about the legal education market and has a strong desire to succeed. Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow our business in the legal education market
  • Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with key partners and customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers, including law students and faculty
  • Work closely with our marketing and product development teams to ensure that our products and services meet the needs of our customers
  • Meet sales growth and lead collections goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Juris Doctorate Degree (JD Degree) required
  • Superior attention to detail and tremendous organizational and planning skills
  • Superior communication skills during in-person, phone, and online client meetings and presentations
  • Computer proficiency, including experience with Web-based applications, CRM (especially Salesforce), and online collaboration tools
Preferred Experience
  • 2+ years of sales experience
