Job Title: Customer Care Representative

At MSC Industrial Supply Co., we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Care Representative. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through various inbound interaction types, including phone calls and emails.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process orders, troubleshoot issues, and complete returns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with vendors to source products and provide general web support to customers.
  • Utilize various systems, including the MSC website, AS400, WebSOE, Salesforce, and Oceana, to identify and address customer needs.
  • Provide effortless customer experiences, regardless of the chosen modality, related to products, services, and pricing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and concerns, including billing, credits, returns, payments, sourcing, pricing, availability, product recommendations, and account-related questions.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on increasing sales through upselling.
  • Proficiency in systems used by the Representative, Customer Care role, such as AS/400, Oceana, and the MSC website.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak and write standard business English.
  • Bilingual ability (Spanish or French) desired.
  • General knowledge of the industrial supply industry desired.
