Entry-Level Field Technician - Construction Materials Testing

RCG Moody International Limited c/- Intertek is a recognized leader in providing quality assurance and safety solutions across various industries. We are currently seeking a Field CMT Technician to be part of our dynamic team. We provide innovative solutions for project assurance, testing, inspection, and consulting services, ensuring the reliability and safety of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct various tests and site assessments under supervision, following established procedures.
  • Operate testing equipment for materials such as soil and concrete, and compile assessment reports.
  • Utilize project drawings and specifications to guide work activities.
  • Observe site activities and perform assigned tasks with attention to detail.
  • Document test results meticulously and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project teams regarding findings.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to ensure personal and team safety on site.
Qualifications:
  • Basic math, calculator, and computer skills are essential.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to interpret work plans and specifications.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move weights between 30 to 50 pounds frequently, and occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Capacity to receive detailed information through oral communication.
  • Ability to kneel, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Occasional climbing may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Experience in field or laboratory construction materials testing is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Certifications such as ACI/ICC/TNDOT are preferred.
