We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Technician II to join our team. As a Field Technician II, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure, including fiber optic cables, transport equipment, and critical infrastructure.

The Role

As a Field Technician II, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring that their network needs are met and exceeded. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network equipment, including fiber optic cables, transport equipment, and critical infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve network issues, working closely with our technical teams to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
  • Asset Management: Manage and maintain our inventory of network equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience: In a similar role, with a strong background in telecommunications, network installation, and maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in fiber optic installation, transport equipment, and critical infrastructure, as well as experience with circuit provisioning, maintenance, and testing.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to customer sites, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
