The Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of custodial floor cleaning and packaging machinery for our clientele.

Key Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician include, but are not limited to:

  • Diagnosing and assessing service equipment issues utilizing diagnostic tools.
  • Repairing and replacing faulty components in service machinery to meet specified standards.
  • Rebuilding and restoring defective mechanical parts in service equipment.
  • Assisting clients with the upkeep of service machinery.
  • Providing on-site customer support for maintenance and repair of service equipment as necessary.
  • Ordering necessary parts for the repair of service machinery.
  • Executing Planned Maintenance Agreement repairs for contractual clients.
  • Possessing a one-year certificate from a college or technical institution; or a minimum of six months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience in pressure washing, floor care cleaning, or automotive/small engine repair.
  • Must hold a valid Driver's License and be capable of obtaining a DOT Medical Card.

Physical Requirements for the Field Service Technician:

In the course of performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands for manipulation, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively. The employee may occasionally need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds is required.
