Collaborating closely with the culinary team and taking guidance from the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef, your primary duty is to ensure that each dish meets exceptional standards and quality. You will rotate through various kitchen sections to enhance your skills and knowledge.
OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily kitchen operations
- Possess a thorough understanding of the menu and necessary ingredients
- Assist senior kitchen staff in crafting exquisite dishes that uphold the hotel's standards and consistently surpass guest expectations
- Lead and mentor the kitchen team in service delivery and professional growth
- Ensure timely delivery of orders
- Adhere to strict health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
- Oversee mise en place and inventory management for your section
Essential Skills:
- Prior experience as a Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Familiarity with a diverse range of local and international culinary ingredients and their preparation methods
- Strong communication abilities
- Excellent teamwork capabilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding standards
- Creativity in producing exceptional dishes and contributing innovative ideas for menu development and seasonal adjustments
- A genuine passion for culinary arts
- Resilience and determination to achieve excellence on the first attempt
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week on a flexible rota, including weekends as required.
Willingness to undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined by management and/or in your employment terms.
