Prepared Foods Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Prepared Foods Team Lead to join our team at Whole Foods Market - Upper East Side. As a key member of our prepared foods department, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Develop and maintain a positive and productive team environment, fostering a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Growth: Work closely with the team leader to achieve sales targets, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and questions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain advanced product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new products and promotions.
- Vendor Relationships: Maintain good vendor relationships, develop new vendor connections, and ensure all paperwork is properly submitted for vendor processing.
- Store Operations: Assist the team leader in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Experience: 18+ months retail team member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills, with a strong ability to coach and mentor others.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for 6-8 hours, and work in a fast-paced environment.
